The one thing she needed.
Beautiful Escape
The beauty of the crimson ravines,
The flowing crimson rivers on her arms.
Nothing helped her more,
Nothing made her feel more herself.
The scars, the hundreds of scars,
Reminders of the past.
Reminders of the pain, the suffering
Oh but how they kill her now.
The pain, the suffering, the crying,
The hatred, the anger, the bloodlust.
Her life out of control
Yet controlled by the crimson rivers,
The flowing rivers of composure.
The doom, the despair,
She wants to get away
From this hell that’s her life,
She just wants to die.
This cruel, petty world
With it’s mindless, worthless whores
Has taken its toll,
So she’s decided to take her life.
She cuts her throat deeply,
Screams, collapses, squirming in pain.
She convulses a few times, then lies still,
She’s finally gotten her wish,
The only thing she ever wanted.
