the darkness creeps in.

It's digging into my skin.

It's turning me.

It's killing me.

Make it go away.

The life it sucks away.

My body gives way.

My knees are scabbed.

My arms are burnt.

Someone please save me.

I'm calling out your name.

The footsteps are the same.

You just keep walking away.

The burden that I carry.

The trees and leaves are buried.

Someone take me home.

Somebody save me from this lonely room.

I scream out as it takes me.

It grabs me and it makes me.

Into a creature of unknown.

Into a creature I do not show.

Your footsteps are receeding.

I'm dying deep inside.

Don't you know I'm doing this for you?

The life I'm giving.

It ruins the living.

I sacrafice myself for you.
