my poetic rhymes.
I once had a friend
who cast me aside
choosing drugs over dreams
which began to fizzle.
I once had a friend
who overdosed and died
abandoning our kinship
that was destined to sizzle.
I once had a friend
Who taught me to soar…
I once had a dream
that dwells in me no more.
