You took my heart, you took my soul,
You cast me aside like dust in the wind,
You could not see past the mask,
You would not delve into what you couldn't see,
You showed me love but it was false,
You took my mind to play your game,
You had my trust but abused it,
You saw my despair but ignored it,
You knew of my darkness but offered no light,
You knew I was lost but left me unfound,
You took my very life and burnt it away,
You know that is why I am like this today.
